OPERATION COMPASSION WISHES TO THANK:

Thanks to Girls Scout Troop #00567, West Indy.  These young ladies created beautiful Christmas cards for the troops!  They also gave generously and donated hygiene items as well.  Thank you ladies!

 Thanks to Bryan Castle and Cub Scout Pack 112 of Carmel Indiana.  They donated several full boxes of items for the troops.  This Scout Pack has faithfully given to the troops for 3 years in a row. 

 Thanks to The Salvation Army and Nashville, Indiana.  They collected 1,800 decks of playing cards and several boxes of hygiene items that we will send overseas.  What a generous community!

Many thanks to the Red Hat Soceity Ladies!  They did a collection of hygiene items for the troops!  What a haul!

Thanks to Ingersoll Rand-Von Duprin Corporation.  The employees gave generously to the troops!

The generous folks at Rolls Royce, Indianapolis, Indiana.  They have chosen Operation Compassion as their focus charity for the Christmas Season.  Their employees have given so generously, which allowed us to purchase much more for Christmas than we were able to do otherwise! 

  • Thanks to Susie R. and the Hoosier-Hug-A-Bears for their donations!  These ladies faithfully give every year.  So sweet and appreciated!
  • Marion, Indiana and the Marion Salvation Army collected hygiene items over the Summer.  What a generous community Marion is!  Lots and lots of items came in and will go out for Christmas!
  • New Castle, Indiana and the Henry County Salvation Army.  They collected hygiene items throughout the month of May, and donations kept coming in through June!  Thanks to all who gave so generously!  Many, many heroes will benefit from your kindness!
  • Rolls Royce Corporation continued their support of Operation Compassion through our Memorial Day shipment.  By offering their employees another series of $5 Jean-Fridays, their generosity allowed us to shop for items to send for Memorial Day.  Their support also paid for shipping!  We were able to send 800 Care Packages to those who honor and protect our country.  Thank you Rolls Royce!
  • Taylor Nichols, of Greenfield!!!   Taylor collected all sorts of hygiene items on her own.  She’s a very sweet and caring young lady.  Thank you Taylor for all of your efforts!
  • The University of Phoenix once again sold American Flags and gave the proceeds to Operation Compassion.  Thank you for sharing with us!  Many service men and women will be encouraged by your generosity.
  • Bryan Castle and his Cub Scout Pack 112, of West Clay Elementary School in Carmel!  The scouts collected lots and lots of hygiene items, decks of cards and socks for the Troops.  These will be shipped in our Memorial Day Care Packages.  Thanks guys!
  • Rolls Royce Corporation Employeesare extremely generous!  Rolls Royce sold $5 jeans’ days to their employees for the last 7 Fridays of 2009.  Let’s just say they have a LOT of employees and with their financial contributions, Operation Compassion was able to restock the warehouse for the next packing which is for Valentine’s Day!  Thanks so much to all who gave!  We’ll be sending lots of socks and washcloths this time around.
  • Rockville Public Library in Parke County!  Their community collected bags and bags of hygiene items to send via Operation Compassion.  Thanks to Cindy Hein and all who contributed!  Your items will be shipped for Valentine’s Day!
  • Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies’ Indianapolis Operations.  They did a collection of hygiene items for our troops.  In addition to so many full boxes of items, they also donated $278 in cash.  Thank you all so very, very much for your kindness and generosity!
  • Staff & Students of George Buck Elementary School (IPS 94) who collected hygiene items and wrote letters, cards and drew pictures for our heroes!
  • Susie Robinson and the Hooiser-Hug-A-Bears for the great donation of hygiene items!  First donation of the new fiscal year.  These will go out in our Christmas packages. THANKS!
  • St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Fishers!  For the 2nd year in a row they gave ever so generously to Operation Compassion!  They collected 18 VERY full bags of hygiene items that will be sent overseas shortly.   Thanks so much for your kindness.
  • The University of Phoenix and Monique Rosson were so generous, and creative!  For the entire month of May, they sold American Flags and then gave the proceeds to Operation Compassion!  Their generosity will go toward our shipping cost.  Their gift will ship FIVE boxes of Care Packages and that translates in to 135 heroes will each receive a Care Package from home! THANKS SO MUCH!
  • Debby Wimberly and Eli Lilly and Company Insulins and Devices Product Team.  This amazing group of people collected an incredible amount of hygiene items!  They collected deodorant, tooth paste, tooth brushes, soap, tissues, lip balm, wash cloths, and oh so much more!  What a generous assortment of items that will be sent overseas very soon.  Thank you all so much!
  • George Chung and AMVETS Post #99, along with their Ladies Auxiliary and the Stingrays of Indiana Drill Team donated several boxes of hygiene items to send overseas!   THANK YOU!
  • Dick Brewer and the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Cedar Lake Aerie 2529 for their generous contribution to Operation Compassion.  They donated over $1,000 worth of hygiene items, puzzle books and more which will be shipped overseas soon!  Thank you so much.
  • Bryan Castle and his amazing Scouts, Pack 112, West Clay Elementary School.  They collected an immense amount of hygiene and snacks to send overseas to the troops!  Thank you all for your amazing thoughtfulness and generosity!
  • Josh @ the Warsaw Public Library – AND to the entire city of Warsaw!  They donated 350 pounds of snacks and hygiene items!   We have already packed up the snacks and we were able to fill 409 Christmas stockings, that we’ll send overseas!  WOW!  We haven’t even been able to pack the hygiene items yet!
  • Carol @ Marquette Manor in Indianapolis.  They put together 50 boxes of various items and donated them to Operation Compassion!  They donated snacks, hygiene items, books, hand-held games and much more!  We’ve already boxed them up and are sending them out soon.  Hopefully they’ll arrive in time for Christmas!  THANK YOU!
  • Karen Mitchell and her great group of friends who not only donated items for our heroes overseas, but also came and packed them in to Christmas stockings!  You guys packed 500 Care Packages! Thanks so much!
  •  The United Way and Interactive Intelligence worked together and chose to do a collection of hygiene items for our troops!  Thank you all SO much for your generosity with the items, as well as the financial contributions!  By partnering with Operation Compassion, many, many heroes will be encouraged because you not only thought of them, you did something about it!  !THANK YOU!
