Welcome to Operation Compassion!

Happy 10th Anniversary to Operation Compassion!

We’ve shipped over 90,000 Care Packages since 2002!

Operation Compassion was formed in 2002, in response to the crisis in the Middle East.  It is our honor to send Care Packages to our Troops overseas.  This program is based out of The Salvation Army Indiana Divisional Headquarters and is the only program of its kind in The Salvation Army.  That makes this a very unique program.

We received a Certificate of Appreciation from

Kandahar, Afghanistan.

It reads:

This certificate of appreciation is presented to The Salvation Army / Operation Compassion for your dedication, support and loyalty to the soldiers who fight to defend the freedom of this nation.  Your efforts are truly appreciated and your kindness does not go unnoticed.  We are truly honored by your thoughtfulness and support.  In thanks we would like to present this certificate which represents the American Resolve following the attacks on the World Trade Center and The Pentagon on September 11, 2001.  It bears witness to the destruction of terrorist forces threatening the United States of America.

We are honored to have received this certificate from those who serve our Country.
